hello sir !
i completed my b.tech degree in CSE with 65%, but i am not intrested in programming.
i want to go in govt sector.
is there any chances for me ???

You can apply for the below Government jobs:

>> BSNL JTO Exams:
Eligibilty is BE/BTECH in IT, telecommunications, Computers, Electronis
Maximum age to apply is 30 years

>> SBI PO exams
Eligibilty is Graduation pass
Age should be between 21 to 30 years

>> Engineering services exams:
This exam is conducted by UPSC
Eligibilty is BE/BTECH pass
Age should be between 21 and 30 years
Next exam would be held on 28th June 2013

>> GATE Exams:
This exam is conducted by IIT
Eligibilty is BE/BTECH pass,Final year BE/BTECH candidates can also apply
You need GATE scores to apply to PSU for jobs

In government sector the best option for you is Public Sector Undertaking. PSU basically is a company which is controlled by the government. The government generally owns minimum of 51 percent stake while maximum of 100 percent stake in such company.

At present there are more than 150 such companies in India. These companies are called Public Sector Undertakings. Each PSU is related to different field. You can definitely apply for the job in PSU companies.

To apply in the Public Sector Undertaking the candidate should have B.Tech degree. Since you have completed B.Tech, the best thing would be to look out for the notification by a PSU.

The notification regarding the job is generally published in leading newspapers as well emplyoment weeklies. Please remember that each company issues a separate notification. You must read it carefully have check whether there are vacancies for the Computer Science Engineers before applying.

The job is given by the Public Sector Undertaking through the entrance exam. The first step is written test which is followed by interview. However recently several PSU companies have adopted different format.

Instead of written test, the candidate is asked to present the GATE score at the time of interview. Therefore it is important to appear for the General Aptitude Test For Engineering.


Eligibility

1. Engineering degree holders like B.Tech/B.E are eligible.

2. Must have scored at least 60 percent in Engineering.

3. You should clear all pending backlogs before applying in PSU.

4. A valid GATE score is required which should not be more than 2 years old.

5. Candidates between 21 to 30 years are eligible.

6. The OBC candidate is granted relaxation of 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST.
