Admission procedure for M.E in Mechanical Engineering in Maharashtra

Admission procedure for the course may vary with institute/University. Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering is the basic eligibility required. Candidates with valid GATE score are generally preferred for admission. Seats which are left unfilled will be filled on the basis of written test and interview carried out by the concerned college.

MIT college of Engineering, Pune carry out own entrance test and interview for non GATE candidates. Written exam carries 70 marks where as the interview is conducted for 30 marks. Syllabus of the test is much similar to that of GATE.
