IES i.e., Indian Engineering Services Examination.
You can definitely apply for Engineering Services Examination, during final year of B.Tech. For Engineering Services Examination you get to choose one domain for the exam among the following four. I. Civil Engineering II. Electrical Engineering III. Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering IV. Mechanical Engineering As you doing B.Tech. in IT so you should choose the IIIrd domain i.e., Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. Final year students are eligible to apply with consideration that they are going to finish the course in the session in June or neighboring months of the year. If due to some reason a candidate fails/ does not complete the degree his/her candidature is lost in Engineering Services Examination even if he she qualifies the Engineering Services Examination. http://upsc.gov.in/ |
