i am persuing btech(civil)-inal year i want to acheive ies please guide me

Information About IES Examination -

IES Examination Was Conducted By UPSC Every year and to apply for this examination you need to complete Your Engineering Graduate degree course form a recognised university and after completing B.Tech in Civil, you are eligible for IES Examination.

To apply for this examination your age should between 21 to 30 years.

Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates, There will be 5 Years Relaxation is applicable for SC/ST Candidates and 3 Year for OBC Candidates.

Recruitment on the results of this examination will be made to the Services under the following disciplines -

>> Civil Engineering.
>> Mecahnical Engineering.

The Notification of IES Examination was Published in the Month of February every year and If you are Pursuing your Final year Course then please apply for this examination Online in 2012, The dates and schedule for Next year IES Examination was already updated in the official website.

The Notification of IES 2012 Examination was Going to be Published on 25/Feb/2012.

Last date of apply for this examination - 26/March/2012

Examination date - 15June/2012.

Hello friend,
To apply for Engineering Service Exam, you must hold a bachelors degree in engineering. The examination is conducted in only four disciplines of engineering but candidate holding a degree in any discipline of engineering are considered eligible for the exam, provided they are within the age limit of 21-30 years.
The examination is conducted in :
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

To apply for the exam, you may visit www.upsconline.nic.in.
The application form will be available as soon as the notification is published.

Yes,you can apply for the IES exam after doing B.tech in Civil

IES is Indian Engineering Service

IES exam is conducted by UPSC every year and for applying for this exam the candidates need to have satisfied the eligibility criteria:

> Candidate need to be a citizen of India.

> Candidate should have a age limit of 21-30 years for General category

> Candidate should have a age limit of 21-35 years for SC/ST category

> Candidate should have a age limit of 21-33 years for OBC category

> Candidate should have completed a B.E/B.Tech degree from a recognized university in departments:

  • Civil Engineering,
  • Mechanical Engineering,
  • Electrical Engineering and
  • Electronics & Tele Communication Engineering.


> Even final year candidates can also apply for the IES exam.

after completing engineering with civil, you are eligible for Indian Engineering Services.

The exams are conducted by union public service commission in every year.

it has some eligibility criteria:-

**educational qualification is graduation in engineering from any recognized university with 4 streams only

**age limit is 21 to 30years.

the 4 streams are

1.electronics and communication

2.electrical and electronics

3.civil

4.mechanical

prepare well

hello friend,

Indian engineering service(IES) exam is conducted by UPSC every year for
which you should have to be graduate in the following fields;
-mechanical engineering
-civil engineering
-electrical engineering
-electrical and telecommunication engineering

-your age must be between 21-30 for general, 21-33 for OBC and
21-35 for SC/ST......

-numbers of attempts is limited as 4 for general, 7 for OBC and
there is no limited attempt for SC/ST

- you can also apply as an appearing candidate..

as you are a civil engineering student so you can apply for the exams...

important dates regarding exam
-date of notification- 25-02-12
-last date to apply- 26-03-12
-date of examination- 15-06-12

To get job as Engineer in government sector,you should appear for Indian Engineering Service exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC every year once.This exam is conducted to take qualified students to different government post like
>>Indian Railway Service Engineers
>>Central Engineering Service
>>Assistant Execute Engineer etc...

To appear for Indian Engineering Service exam,
You should have complete minimum graduation degree in Engineering of any one branch mentioned below
>>Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering
>>Electrical Engineering
>>Civil Engineering
>>Mechanical Engineering
And your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

If you fulfilled with above mentioned criteria,then you can appear for IES exam this years.

>>Issuing of application form from 25th Feb 2012 to 24th March 2012.

>>And exam will held on 15th June 2012.

Yes, definitely you can appear in the IES examination after completing B.Tech.

The IES examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in every year.

Eligibility criteria for the IES examination :-

Degree in engineering in any one of the following branch.
->Electronics & Electrical Engineering.
->Electrical Engineering.
->Civil Engineering.
->Mechanical Engineering.

The Computer science and information technology branch are not eligible for the IES examination.

Age Limit = The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appearing of this examination.

So, if you are doing b.tech course in Civil engineering then you are eligible to

Hi,
If you want to give the IES exam, you should fill the required eligibility.

You should be a citizen of India


You should be a graduate or a final year student in any of the branch given below
Electrical engineering
Mechanical engineering
Electronics and communication engineering
Civil engineering

Your age should be in between the limits of 21-30 years of age.

For obc category, the age limit is till 33 years and for sc st, further relaxation is given and age limit is till 35 years of age.
