Hello friend,
To apply for Engineering Service Exam, you must hold a bachelors degree in engineering. The examination is conducted in only four disciplines of engineering but candidate holding a degree in any discipline of engineering are considered eligible for the exam, provided they are within the age limit of 21-30 years. The examination is conducted in : Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. To apply for the exam, you may visit www.upsconline.nic.in. The application form will be available as soon as the notification is published. |

In order to appear for the IES(Indian Engineering Service) you need to satisfy the following conditions :-
1) You should be a graduate degree holder or a final year student in any of the following streams Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering Electrical Engineering 2) You should be 21-30 years for general,21-33 years for OBC and 21-35 for SC/ST Max attempts for general is 4.. |

after completing engineering with civil, you are eligible for Indian Engineering Services. The exams are conducted by union public service commission in every year. it has some eligibility criteria:- **educational qualification is graduation in engineering from any recognized university with 4 streams only **age limit is 21 to 30years. the 4 streams are 1.electronics and communication 2.electrical and electronics 3.civil 4.mechanical prepare well all the best |

Indian engineering service(IES) exam is conducted by UPSC every year for which you should have to be graduate in the following fields; -mechanical engineering -civil engineering -electrical engineering -electrical and telecommunication engineering -your age must be between 21-30 for general, 21-33 for OBC and 21-35 for SC/ST...... -numbers of attempts is limited as 4 for general, 7 for OBC and there is no limited attempt for SC/ST - you can also apply as an appearing candidate.. as you are a civil engineering student so you can apply for the exams... important dates regarding exam -date of notification- 25-02-12 -last date to apply- 26-03-12 -date of examination- 15-06-12 for more information about IES you can visit the link given; www.upsc.gov.in |

If you want to give the IES exam, you should fill the required eligibility. You should be a citizen of India You should be a graduate or a final year student in any of the branch given below Electrical engineering Mechanical engineering Electronics and communication engineering Civil engineering Your age should be in between the limits of 21-30 years of age.
