my 12th mark is 56%. i am doing my b.tech in ece... if i will get more than 70% in b.tech then in which copanies i can apply for job?? my 10th result is 77%.. i want to job in it or software companies....

Dear friend

ECE stands for the Electronics and Communication Engineering .It is one of the core branch of engineering .

As you are interested in software companies ,I would suggest you that it would be better if you try for the Public sector undertakings rather software companies as you belong to core branch.

However the general requirements for the Software companies is :

>>AT least 60% marks in 10th and 12th from a recognized board.

>>Minimum of 65% in bachelor's degree throughout without any backlogs.

>>Good communication skills.

>>Good presonality

It may vary from company to company.

The process of recruitment is :

>>Screening test consists of technical questions of general aptitude and knowledge.

>>Group discussion

>>Personal interview

Some of the software companies are IBM,TCS,Infoysys,Tech Mahindra etc.

So you can get the required job in these companies with your academic qualification.Please keep one thing in mind that your academic % will just make your eligible for the Placement and your knowledge will provide your placement.

If you are interested in working in PSu like NTPC,BHEL.SAIL,GAIL,BSNL,DRDO,MTNL etc ,you must clear the GATE exam with good rank for getting shortlisted.

->junior engineer post in core companies like BHEL,ONGC,IOCL,HPCL etc and to get this job,you must have good GATE exam score because these companies do not conduct the written test but consider the GATE exam score to shortlist the candidates
->CLERK,PO and Specialist Officer posts in banks
->JTO post in telecom companies like BSNL
->CIVIL SERVICES & Indian Engineering Services examinations

## You can also apply for assistant software engineer post in IT COMPANIES like DELL,IBM,TCS,WIPRO etc and to get this post,you must have good communication skills and programming skills

Yes, you are eligible for applying for the technical positions in Air force after completing B.tech course. The basic criterion is a 4 year engineering graduation. It should be secured from a recognized university or institute. The age limit should be between 18- 28 years. There is relaxation allowed for the reserved categories. You can attend the AFCAT exam. The selection will be based in all the cases through a written exam. This will be followed by a physical test and personal interview. The notifications regarding this exam will be published in the official website. You can apply accordingly.
