Hey friend,

It is good to see your interest in joining in NDA but trying to join in NDA with doing 11th standard is not possible as you don't possess the enough criteria needed for joining in it.

As candidate who is doing 11th standard is not eligible for applying for the exam as he is not satisfying the needed education qualification for the exam..

Education Qualification Needed :

> The Education qualification needed for the exam states that the candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education for joining in Indian Army.

> In the case of joining in Indian Navy or Air Force you need to have completed +2 with physics and mathematics as subject


You need to satisfy this as per the education standards to be eligible.Apart from this there are certain other criteira's which are needed to be satisfied in order to be eligible for applying for the exam.

Having doing 11th in Biology group you can join in any of the 3 Defence forces of India.

The other criteria's would include such as:

Criteria's Needed :

The candidate appearing for the exam must be a citizen of India and must be a unmarried male candidate.

The age limit for the exam states that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years of age.

Being Physically Fit is very important while applying for this exam.


The candidate who is satisfying all these above mentioned norms is eligible for applying for the NDA exam to join in defence forces.

No,you are not eligible for NDA.
Because you not have maths in 12th class.
In NDA physics and maths is the required subject.
Your age should be in the range of 16.5 to 19 years.
So, you have to find another post in defence department.

nda eligibility:

--you should be citizen of india

--for army wings of national defense academy: 12th pass is necessary from any field

--for air force and naval wings : 12th pass with physics, maths and chemistry as compulsory subject

--candidates appearing in 11th are not eligible
--those who are appearing in 12th class can appear for the exam but after passing exam you have to give proof for the passing of 12th class

--candidates who are debarred by ministry of defense are not eligible for the exam
