Re: How can I apply for NDA exam while studying in class 11th
Quote:
NDA's full form is National Defense Academy. To enter this academy an examination needs to be given which is conducted by UPSC twice a year. By giving this exam you can enter the following wings: Army, Navy and Air force wings of the National Defence Academy. Firstly, this examination is only for the male candidates of India who are unmarried. Unfortunately girls are not allowed to sit for this examination. The educational qualification required to sit for this exam purely depends on the wing you choose. For the Army wing you just need to pass in H.S. but for the Air Force and Navy wing along with passing in H.S. you have to make sure that you had physics and mathematics at 10+2 level. While applying for this exam age should not be lower than 16.5 year or higher than 19 years. As mentioned earlier during the three year's training one cannot get married. Even if they do so then they will be asked to leave the academy. How To Apply:- The cost of the application fee for the general category candidates and OBC candidates is Rs. 50. SC/ST candidates need not pay any application fee. The fee needs to be paid in any one of the branch of State Bank of India. The whole procedure is carried out online in the official website of UPSC. After filling up the details you have to take a print out of the application form. Hope this helps :-> :-> |

Re: How can I apply for NDA exam while studying in class 11th
Dear friend
As per rules and regulations of the UPSC for the National defense academy 10+1 that is 11 standard candidates are not eligible to appear for the NDA exams. You must wait for the next year till you become eligible for the NDA examinations as the minimum academic qualifications required is 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 60% marks in it or appearing for the 10+2 board exams. Suggestions: So friend you have one more year ,I would suggest you to join any institutes like Disha,Minerva academy or any other so that you can prepare well for the NDA examinations as this examination is not easy to crack. Try to strengthen your basics,be updated with general knowledge ,practice on mathematics questions.go through the previous year papers of NDA exams as these all things will boost up your confidence so that you can easily crack the exam. It consists two stages : 1.Written test 2.Service selection board. The age limitations for the exam is 16.5 to 19 years .You should be unmarried male Indian in order to apply for the exams. For any more details ,you may visit www.upsc.gov.in Hope the information helps you. all the best aashisranjan784 |
