I have 54.75 prcnt in ma part 1 english from vu dde and now i have rcntly cmplited my part 2 and waiting fr my part 2 rslt.can i apply for net exam

No you're not eligible for NET entrance examination. Because, minimum 55% percentage of marks required in master degree course in order to participate in NET Entrance examination. Since, you have score 54.75 percentage of marks. So, you'r ineligible to apply for NET entrance examination. However, If you're belong from sc/st category then definitely you're eligible for NET Entrance examination. The Applicant who belong from reserved category candidates relaxation will be given Upto 5% percentage of marks in master degree course.

NET stands for National Eligibility Criteria and this Examination is conducted by the University Grants Commission . This Examination held twice in a year . The candidate who aspiring to become an Lecturer then it's mandatory the applicant should be qualified in NET entrance examination with good marks. In order to apply for NET Entrance examination then should be passed in master degree course in any discipline from recognized university.

=For Junior Research Fellowship :- The Applicant age should be not more more then 28 years and relaxation will applicable for sc/st candidates for 5 years
=For Lectureship :- There is no Upper age limit.
