i had scored 48% in ma english in 2007 but now i have scored 50% in ma english in 2012 under class improvment scheme .i have scored 55% in m.phil am i eligible for set net

can i give net exam with 51% in english M.A.

You have got 50% marks in M.A in English so you are not eligible for NET/SET exam.

The educational qualification required for NET/SET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET/SET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET/SET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.
