i m doing chemistry(h) and currently in third year,pls tell me can i apply for po exam next year.It is applied to all the streams or not.pls help me out.

Yes, You are eligible to apply for the Bank PO Examination after completing your Graduation in chemistry because to apply for BANK PO Examination you need to complete your Graduation degree course in any discipline form a recognised University.

>> So, When you are Completing your Chemistry Course then you are apply for BANK PO examination, because final year graduate candidates are not eligible for bank PO Examination.

>> To apply for Government Bank PO Examination Like IBPS, SBI you need to complete you graduation degree course in any discipline form a recognised university and your age should between 21 to 30 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

There is no minimum percentage is required in graduation to apply for SBI and IBPS Bank PO Examination because any Graduate passed candidates are eligible to apply for Bank PO Examination. So please do not worry after completing your Graduation you are eligible for Bank PO Examination.

>> But for Private bank examination your age should not be more than 25 years and you must have scored minimum 55% marks in Graduation and for more Information check the official website.

Yes my friend, you are very much eligible for that examination.As you are pursuing Chemistry honors in 3rd year and you will pass in this year,so you are eligible.For attempting PO exam any candidate must have bachelor degree in any particular discipline from any college which is under a recognized university.

Yes it is applied for all the stream.The age of the candidate will be between 21 to 30(for general) and 21 to 35(for SC/ST)

Eligibility criteria for all the Govt. Bank Po exam -
1. Minimum 55% marks in graduation .
2. Graduation from any recognized university .
3. Age limit = 21 to 30 years for general (5 years relaxation for sc/st )
4. Candidate should be a citizen of India .

So graduation with 55% in any branch is enough to fulfill the qualification criteria for Govt. bank PO exam.

But some privet banks like ICICI has age criteria = 21 to 28 years .
Indian overseas Bank has qualification criteria = minimum 60%.

So if you have at least 60% in graduation then you are eligible for all privet and Govt. bank PO exams .

but to apply for PO exam after doing Chemistry, you have to fullfil the given below criteria

>>minimum degree qualification in any stream.

>>minimum 55% marks in degree.although some bank want 60% in graduation.

To apply for Bank PO examination You need to passed in your graduate degree examination in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 55% Marks. IBPS exam is conduct for BANK PO for 17 banks .

Only those candidate have completed graduation degree are eligible for BANK PO exam.

Also all candidate age must be in between 20 to 30 years.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

Selection process for IBPS exam-
1) Written Test
2)Personal Interview
