TNPSC stands for Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission

Being a B.A Economics degree holder you are eligible for applying for the TNPSC Exam,

Details About TNPSC:

This exam is conducted for candidates to join in various Government posts in TamilNadu.

The candidates are selected through 2 stages:

>> Written Test
>> Oral Test

Written Test:

The mode of written exam is of objective type contains 200 questions carries (150+150) 300 marks. It has 3 hours time duration. The minimum qualifying marks for selection is 90.

There are criteria's which you need to satisfy in order to be eligible for the TNPSC Exam and they are:

> Candidate need to be a citizen of India

> For candidates of General the age limit is 18-30 years.

> The age limit needed for the exam is that the candidate must have 18-35 years for SC/ST.

> FOr OBC Candidates it is 18-33 years

> Education qualification needed for the exam is that the candidate must have completed a degree from a recognized university


If you are satisfying all these then you can apply for the TNPSC Exam

Date of Notification : 13-06-2012

Closing date for online registration : 13-07-2012

Graduates in any discipline but from a recognised university can apply for the exam.

Eligibilty criteria for TNPSC are:
Candidate must be Indian.
Age must be 18 to 30 for general candidates and 18 to 35 for SC/ST and 18 to 33 for OBC.
Education required that candidate hold graduation degree.
If any one setisfy above things he/she can go for TNPSC.
