what is the age limit for obc candidate in state goverment jobs so that i come to know whether am i eligible or not.

As you don't mention the name of the government job so i can't give you the exact detail of it but the age limit of RAS for OBC candidate is upto 33 years.

STATE government jobs have their different eligibility conditions for different posts or vacancies.
In most of the early government job minimum eligibility required is graduation degree with minimum 50 % marks
In higher jobs you must need a master degree from a recognized university

rest if you mention here for whcih post and field you want to know then we would be able to tell you the educational requirements for the government jobs

friend u have not mentioned which state are u applying for,since criteria's are generally different for different states.till for most state govt. jobs the age limit is b/w 21-28yrs.also for obc candidates there is a 5yr age relaxation but its not uniformly applicable in all states.still u may confirm the age limit from the corresponding state service commision websites.

OBC is socially & educationally backward class. There is 27% reservation in public sector employment & higher education.

The minimum age required for the government is 18 years and the maximum age of the candidate is 40years this also depend on the various posts and department. For the OBC candidate you will be provided some relaxation by the every department.

Age limits will differs from one state to other state,as you have not mentioned your state,iam giving Andhra Pradesh state government age limits.

Candidate age should be between 19 to 39 years,to appear for state government post.

Age-limit for Government job: -

1. For General candidates = 21 Years to 30 Years,

2. For OBC candidates = 21 Years to 33 Years,

3. For SC / ST candidates = 21 Years to 35 Years

As state Govt. are reducing their quotas in Govt. Sector, OBC candidates can apply state Govt. jobs up to age limit of 30yrs.

Your question is not clear.......

Age limits of State Government Jobs :-

The candidate should have a minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years of age at the time of appearing.

Upper Age limits :-

General category : There is no relaxation.

Other Backward Class(OBC) Category : 3 years relaxation is given to the candidates.

Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes : 5 years relaxation is given to the candidates.

Qualification :-

The candidate should have a graduate degree from any recognized Institute/University or equivalent Qualification.

Those in the final year of examination can also apply for this examination.

Dear friend,you can apply any state government post.
every state prepare their own criteria for various post.generally as my observation and statics after all post
age limitation for candidate between 21 to 30 year.and upper age relaxation also provide to OBC candidate 3 year after 30.so you can apply at the age of 33 year.
some other relaxation also provide by state govt. in some cases-
1. a state person who has paricipate in any national /international sports.
2. a green card holder.
3. state prize win.
