NEET stands for National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test. Medical Council of India and Ministry of Human Resource Development proposed this examination. By giving this exam you can do undergraduate course in medical like MBBS, BDS or postgraduate course like MS,MD etc. By giving this exam you can expect to get admission in most of the top private and government medical colleges in India.

Earlier the number of medical entrance exams one used to give was tremendously high. There were about 25 medical entrance exams in our country and to increase chances of getting selected many used to give more than five or six exams. Different exams had different syllabus and the exam pattern also used to vary. But now with NEET the burden of the students gets reduced.

The minimum qualification required to sit for this exam is that you need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate and in addition to that you need to secure 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together.

There is percentage relaxation for the reserved category candidates. SC/ST candidates needs to get 45% of marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together.

You cannot apply for this exam unless and until you turn 17 years of age. There is upper age limit relaxation for the reserved category candidates. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates there is 5 years age relaxation.

Number Of Attempts:- You can give this exam for three times at the most.

Dear Friend,

A candidate who have completed their 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% from Recognized Board exam are eligible for it.....

SC/ST candidates needs to get 45% of marks...

Final years students also eligible for it...

Age of candidate should be between 17 to 25 years......

There is upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates as 5 years for SC/ST/OBC......

Maximum number of attempts allowed for NEET Exam is 3 times....

I have not qualified in neet-ug 2013...My score is 52..(20.8%).. Is it possible to write attempt?

If I have given 12th board exam in 2017 , So can I give NEET or MHCET in 2018 , if i have not given in 2017 .
