Hey, I am currently in united states and I am an Indian citizen. I failed my 12th science in India and by the time I got a chance to appear for the retest I had to come here. Now I am planning to come back to India. Is there any chance I would get to start all the way again from standard 11th but in commerce field on the basis of my 10th standard result. I scored 74% in 10th and my age is now 19. And it's almost 3 to 4 years of passing my 10th grade

There will be no problem, you can get admission in any board of India for senior secondary education. School or college will ask you for genuine reason for academic gap. Your percentage in 10th is good for admission in any good school.

Different boards in India are:

1. Central Board of Secondary Education.

2. ICSE board.

3. National Institute of Open Schooling.

4. State level board.

You can approach any school or college of these boards for admission in 11th standard in desired discipline.
