I have done ITI in 1992..I want to do Btech. Please help me

If you are 10+2 pass with PCM then you can go for B.Tech but from ITI you cannot do B.Tech, you may join Diploma but for all this there will be some age barrier which may stop you to do.

Hello sir,

To study B.Tech you should complete your 10(+2) level.
If you have completed your higher secondary studies i.e 12th, then you can study B.Tech course in a particular stream.
In most of the cases, your age may also matter for the admission to this course.

I think its a huge time difference in ur ITI and B.tech
so max institute to say sorry
but u can apply in some private institute.......

As far as i know age is not a matter of concern to do b.tech.A gap certificate will come to play if you really want to persue b.tech after 19 years and above all you need to fulfill all the eligible criteria of a particular institute or college to which you want to join for b.tech.As for exmple you need to pass class 12 in science stream with required percentage.For different colleges or institution the requirements are different.Wish you good luck and bright future..have fun

If you done 12th from PCM then you can take admission in B.Tech. If you done ITI in 1992 then i think that your age is more so if you want to do B.Tech course then in getting job i think you will have age problem. so i advise you to get a god job in a government sector. It is the best for you.

definitely you can do B.Tech though if you did ITI 19 years back.

but you can't take direct admission in B.Tech. before doing B.Tech you have to do Diploma in engineering.

then after you can do btech.

you can do btech regular or part time courses.

After ITI you cannot do B.Tech. because minimum eligibility for B.Tech. is : -

1. A candidate pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised board.

Note: - If you have done 10+2 then you can do B.Tech. as a part time course.

you can do b.tech from some speacial colleges.in which age are not matter. for this you haveto only qualification of 12th level.
so contact these colleges as soon as possible-
i will provide some colleges-
1-p.k.institute of technology(mathura)u.p.
2-manglayatan university(aligarh)u.p.

You wil not be able to do Btech directly . But there are other options . You can do DIPIETE which is equivalent to 3 year diploma . After that you can do AMIETE which is equivalent to Btech.You can do study these courses through postal coaching if needed. The DIPIETE and AMIETE is conducted by The Institute of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers (IETE).Both AMIETE and DIPIETE are offered in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology disciplines. The membership examination of IETE (DIPIETE / AMIETE) is recognized by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India for employment to posts and services under the central government, in the appropriate fields. Candidates after passing DIPIETE or AMIETE can opt to work with government or private agencies or can choose for higher studies.

Age is not at all a criteria for those who wish to study .....

Can i do b.tech after polytechnic diploma course ?

i complete my "civil draughtman" cource, after 12th science with 1st class,
what is next? is that B.tech. or B.E.in civil ?

You are not eligible to do B.TECH course due age criteria.
There are some eligibility criteria for doing B.TEH.They are
You must be completed 12th class or diploma.
Sorry to say this age problem is big issue for your studies.But you can do in private distance education centers.
You completed ITI so can do some different course like DIDIETE and AMIETE which is conducted by The Institute Of Electronics and Telecommunication(IETE).

Can i do B.tech with ITI qualification?

Sir, I have completed my I.T.I in 1989-1991. I am having working experience of around twenty years in various reputed companies and at present working in TANGEDCO. I completed my 2 privately in third group (Commerce).
I have completed my diploma in DEEE in Jaipur Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University (RVD), Rajasthan in Distance mode between 2008 - 2010. Then i completed my BE EEE course (Lateral entry) in part time in Karpagam university,Coimbatore in the period of 2011-2014. But last ten days before supreme court issues a judgement that getting technical degree from Jaipur Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University (RVD) through distance mode is not a valid degree.
So my doubt is as i joined B.E as lateral entry using this diploma ,is that my BE is a valid degree or not ?
Is it possible to join BE(Lateral entry) using ITI qualification ?
