Yes you can apply for the CA course. As your subjects are English and Economics in BA and I guess you are non Commerce student so you need minimum 60% marks to apply for CA exams.

If you have 60% marks in graduation then you will exempted from the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and is permitted to register for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC).

If you will passed the final examination conducted by ICWAI then you can register for the Professional Competence course.

Yes, you can do CA (Chartered Accountant) course after completing your B.A (Bachelor of Arts). For that you have to apply for the CPT examination. CPT stands for the Common Proficiency Test.

Stages in CA course:

1. CPT exam,
2. IPCC course and
3. Final course

To become eligible for this exam candidates should have completed at least their 10+2 from the recognized board exam.

As you have completed your Bachelor in Arts, which is from non-commerce background then, you should have secured at least 55% in your graduation.

Once, you passed in CPT exam you can join IPCC (Integrated Professional Competence Course). During final year of IPCC course, you can apply for the final course exam. And once, you passed in final exam then, you will become a certified Chartered Accountant.
