Can i do diploma in petrolium engineering after 10th class

After passing 10th board exams you can definitely apply for admission in
Diploma in Engineering course (any discipline) but there is no well known institute
(Govt./Private) that is offering Diploma in Petroleum Engineering.
Petroleum Engineering is a very specific branch of engineering so it is not offered
junior to graduation level.

Further, as a good guide I would suggest you to do 10+2 with PCM subjects
rather than taking admission in Diploma Engineering.
When there was very less no. of engineering colleges then diploma in engineering
also was valued enough that there was no fear of job for engineering diploma
holders and with only diploma degree people reached the top of their specialization.

But, now things have changed. After doing diploma you could get a job but you would
not step up fast because of of not having a B.Tech. degree and so you would then
think of doing B.Tech.

So, you should decide carefully right after 10th.

Go for 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
Do your studies well and keep preparing for the major engineering entrance exams.
If you were thinking about diploma just because you wanted to start earning early
then I also I would suggest you the same.
If, after 12th you get admission in some good Government college like IIT/NIT then
you could easily get loan assistance as well as Scholarships during your studies.

After 10th standard you can do diploma in engineering but you can't do diploma in petroleum.

First of all complete your 12th standard then after thinking like this.

Go for 10+2 with Physics,
Chemistry and Maths.
Do your studies well and keep
preparing for the major
engineering entrance exams.
If you were thinking about diploma just because you
wanted to start earning early
then I also I would suggest
you the same.

Diploma in Petroleum Engineering :

Now you are completing the 10th class and interested to join in the diploma program, then you don't worry you can do diploma program in petroleum engineering course.

But admission for this program, you need to write the Polytechnic entrance exam conducted by the state govt of india and also for writing this entrance exam required educational qualifications are you must completed the 10th class with minimum pass marks.

And this is a 3 years course program and many institutes are offering this program and after completing the diploma course you can also join in B.E/B.Tech program in directly second year.

Otherwise you can tack the 10+2 course in maths and physics as a compulsory subject and after completing the this course. You need to write the Engineering entrance exams conducted by the corresponding university.

After qualifying the entrance exam many govt and private institutes are offering the engineering course and this is a 4 years course and after completing this course many govt and private organizations are offering the jobs.

you can do diploma in petrolium engineering not directly after tenth ,first after tenth do diplomo by choosing chemical group in that take pretrochemical trade and by completing it you can get good jobs in petrochemical compinies... but if you want to study further you can complete engineering either by regular or corresponce any way engineering after diplomo is offered by only less colleges....
