Can I study Diploma in Computer Science Engineering along with 12th Arts? Options after completing Diploma course?
Hello!
My name is Francis. I have recently taken my 12th class in NIOS and taken arts plus computer science as my subject of choice. I have acknowledged that the eligibility for Diploma in Computer science engineering (DCSE for short) is 10th passed, which i've missed. So, is it possible to take the DCSE course while attaining my 12th classes? If yes, after completion of the Diploma, which course should I option for? |

Admission in a Diploma in Computer Science is based on the 10th standard and you can surely apply for admission through a Polytechnic Entrance exam.
Hence, if you want to pursue both 10+2 and Diploma at the same time then one course should be in correspondence mode. If both are regular courses then you will face problem while studying and attending classes. Therefore, you have to choose anyone course for regular classes. After completion of Diploma you will be eligible for B.Tech Computer Science through lateral entry admission. You can also go for AMIE which is also a good option to become an Engineering Graduate. |
