Can I do PhD from IGNOU? having 47% in M.A. English?
Can i do phd from ignou. I had completed my M.A English this year with 47%...if not what are other options for me...please guide me as soon as possible...

No, you will not be eligible for PhD programme from IGNOU with only 47% marks in PG.
Eligibility for PhD from IGNOU:- Master's Degree or equivalent qualification with 55% marks for open category candidate and 50% in case of reserved category from any recognized university. The candidate should have cleared the entrance examination conducted by the University at the national level on the pattern of UGC/CSIR. The maximum duration of IGNOU PhD Programme is 5 years. |
