i am doing 3rd b.tech in IT .. i wanted to know whether i can do psychology after btech. can any one of u suggest me plz........

For Bachelor programme in psychology - 10+2
For Post graduate courses in psychology - Bachelor degree in psychology
For Ph.D./ M.Phil - PG or Diploma in psychology
so you can do phychology on the basis of 10+2 i.e a bachelor programme..
Graduation in psychology is a 3 year programme.
Post graduation is of 2 years duration and during the course, specialization in a special branch of psychology is possible.
M.Phil or Ph.D. is of 2 year duration.

ya you can go. After the B.Tech you can go for your further interested studies. There is no any objections..................

As such there is no restriction but you might face some difficulties because you dont have good background in Psychology.

I have completed my Btech computers.But im interested in psychology.Does my Graduation in Btech affects my further step in physchology.Please suggest me the best.I need to become a psycholgist.And also please provide me the entire fees details.

There is absolutely no problem in doing Psychology after B Tech.
But all these four years will be kinda wasted.I suggested you try out something which needs both backgrounds , some thing like HCI whcih specializes psychology or some thing which amalgamates both your psychology and technical background.

Psychology is the study about the Human Nature, the inner self, the thinking, maturity level, and other such complex things.

It is usually a medical sided program which is a graduation course i.e B.Sc Psychology and it can be done from any good university like DU, MU, etc..


As we know that B.Sc is a full time 3 year degree program, so there are certain Eligibility conditions for the same :


1. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state boards in India.

2. You cannot be enrolled in two graduation programs at the same time.

3. You need to have studied Biology as one of your subjects in the Higher Secondary as Psychology is a Biological graduation program.


So as per these criteria's, I must tell you that you are only Eligible to study Psychology after completion of your B.Tech if you had studied Biology in your Higher Secondary.

If not, I am really sorry to say that you are not eligible to study Psychology Honors.

Hai,
My advice to you is this unless you are
willing to take a large debt load and spend several years getting you PhD in
psychology then my advice would be to look at your other options.
Since you have
a B.Tech degree i would look at the possibility of going to law school, filling
up the gaps in your transcript to go to medical school or maybe look at getting
your MBA.
