It has become compulsory to clear Teacher Eligibility Test to become teacher in State government schools.

Eligibility criteria for TET:

Academic qualification: Bachelor's degree and bachelor's degree in Education is necessary to apply for Teacher Eligibility Test.

If you have not done Bachelor of Education then you can first pursue B.Ed course to be eligible for TET for teaching job. For B.Ed course, minimum of 50% marks is required.
