Re: Can I eligible for TET Exam having done M.Com with 63%?
I am not sure why do you want to appear for the Teachers Eligibility Test. You have completed post graduation, it would be far better to apply for the National Eligibility Test.
The Teachers Eligibility Test is for school teacher's job while National Eligibility Test is for college lectureship. This makes National Eligibility Test is better choice. Besides since you have not completed Bachelor of Education you can't appear for the Teachers Eligibility Test. However to appear for National Eligibility Test you do not need any further education. Post graduation degree is all that is required. Therefore my recommendation would be National Eligibility Test. Eligibility Criteria 1. You should have minimum of post graduation degree. 2. Must have completed it with minimum of 55 percent marks. 3. Candidate of SC/ST need 50 percent marks. 4. There is no relaxation for OBC. 5. Even during final year of post graduation, you can appear for NET. 6. Your NET subject should be related to PG course. 7. The age limit is 28 years if applying for JRF. 8. There is no upper age limit for lectureship. Now in my opinion this is the best option for you. However if you still want to continue with TET then you must first complete Bachelor of Education which is 1 year long course. After this course you can apply for TET. The notification for State TET is made in all major newspapers in the country. While the Central Teachers Eligibility Test is another option for you. |

Re: Can I eligible for TET Exam having done M.Com with 63%?
TET is Teachers Eligibility Test and you have to fulfill some criteria before applying for it.
You must have following qualification if you want to apply for TET: Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), approved by NCTE . So if you have not completed B.Ed then you have to take admission in B.Ed if you want to apply for TET. TET is conducted by various states and also Centrally by CBSE. You can only apply if you satisfy above criteria. If you qualify TET then you will be eligible for government teacher post in Schools. You have to pass and objective type paper with merit and after counselling you will get job if your score is high compared to others. For more information visit http://www.ctet.nic.in |

Dear Friend,
The Acronym "TET" stands for Teachers Eligibility Test. If you have done M.Com with 63% , then you are eligible for the TET Exam. The TET Exam is conducted every year by the State Governments for the recruitment of teachers in government schools and colleges. The requisites for TET Examination are : * You need to have completed Bachelor Of Education (B.Ed) from any recognized university. * You must be an Indian Citizen. * There is no age limit for the TET Exam. * There is no minimum percentage required for the TET Exam. * You must have to score more than 60% marks in TET Exam if you want to be called for the interview. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |
