A minimum of 50% marks in 12th is enough to apply for engineering degree. But admission to the course is done on the basis of entrance exams. You need to qualify national or state level entrance to join civil engineering degree. You can try for B.Tech in Biotechnology, only if you have studied Biology as a subject in 12th. Admission in this case is also done according to entrance test score. NEET is conducted for selecting candidates to MBBS and BDS courses.

hi,

Actually the percentage required to do civil engineering is min 45% to 60%

The selection of civil engineering is based on the entrance exam that is AIEE or IIT JEE or AICET. but the min percentage we should have in 12th standard.

And coming to Biotechnology ... if you want to do biotechnology .. in 12th standard you should have the biology as your mandetory subject so, that is in the B.P.C group ... only and if you are from the M.B.P.C you can eligible for bio technology.

And the Bsc biotechnology is the 3 years of course ... wit 6-Semisters.

But for that you need to have 60% marks in physics, chemistry and biology.

THANK YOU!!!!!
