completed diploma in mech engg with 81.79%. can i get admission for direct second year in govt engg karad.

i am a open category student.can i take admission in iit after diploma in mecahanical with 90%.

Yes you can apply for it as the admission after diploma is based on the marks of your diploma and you scored very good marks and therefore you can apply for it and also you wil get admission direct into 2nd year..

You can get direct 2nd year by LEET exam.


LEET exam stands for lateral entry engineering test.


Eligibility :

- You should have at least a 60% in Diploma.

- Maximum age limit is of 28 years.

- You must not have any backlogs left in Diploma.

If you get qualified in the LEET exam you will directly get admission to second year of engineering
