I have scored 714 in engg wbjee,in s.c category..can i be able to admit any govt engg col with mechanical engg??plz answr.

I am extremely sorry to say that with this rank of 714 you can not get mechanical engineering in government colleges of engineering.However,you can get private colleges for engineering in mechanical branch.

WBJEE is conducted every year for admission in Engineering courses in government as well as private colleges in West Bengal.
Many candidates appear in it and few of them are able to secure good rank.
Some of the reputed government engineering colleges in West Bengal are:-
1.Jadhavpur Engineering College.
2.Shivpur Engineering College.
Other good private colleges are:-
1.Haldia Institute of Technology.
2.Heritage College of Engineering.
3.Techno India,etc.
There is a reservation in Govt. colleges for West Bengal students upto 85% and some seats are filled through AIEEE rank also.
You have secured a very good rank in the exam and there is a very good chance that you will get a seat in a government college with mechanical stream by applying your state qouta and SC category.
