SIR i m getting 152 marks in aieee 2012 from general category...

still can i get any nit and which branch??

plzz tell me upto which round of councilling and what branches

I am very sorry to sat that you may be not able to get a seat in NITs with the sore you have attained,as you belong to general category ,you should be obtaining more than 200 to get admission into some of the NITs,but however you can avail yourself with some of the top private engineering colleges across the country with your score.

DEAR FRIEND!!!

If you get 152 marks in AIEEE in general category, then it is not going to get you in any reputed NITs. Your rank will be near about 30,000 to 40,000. But you can expect nice college in this rank.

I personally suggest you to wait for the later rounds of counseling. I the later rounds you can surely get some nice college may be NITs also..

As general category requires high cutoff marks to get admission in NITs ,,,scoring 152 wont take you to NITs...


when your mark decreases ,,you AIR ,state rank also decreases....

so it is necessary that you score atleast 300 marks to come up in the competition in general category......

Nice to hear that you have got 152 marks in AIEEE being a general student. Now the matter of fact is that you want to get admission in NIT on the basis of marks you obtained , then my dear i just want to clear you one thing that you will surely get admission in NITS like Agartala or others but at the same time its also true that you will not get the Top NITs because in order to get admission in Top NITSs like NIT Warangal or NIT Trichy , you must have rank less than 1500.

So , be happy as you will surely get admission in NIT.

Being a general candidate you dont have any chance in top NIT

However, you should try your luck in lower NIT.
You do have slim chances of getting lower NIT.

Also you will have to make trade off between NIT or your preferred branch.
