Respected sir/mam, I am 43 years old widow. I did B.Sc and B.Ed..Earlier i worked as a Teacher, but can i get a job in bank in Bhiwadi or in nearby areas?

No, you are not eligible for recruitment in banking jobs as you have crossed your maximum age limit.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline.

The age limit is 18-28 years and 21-30 years for Clerk and PO post and relaxation of 9 years in upper age limit for widow candidates.

So, you are not eligible to appear for examination.

Bank recruits fresh candidates as clerk, PO(Probationary Officer) and Specialist officer.
Candidates having bachelor degree in any disciple are eligible for clerk and PO while for specialist officer degree in particular field is demanded such as B.Sc Agriculture for Agriculture specialist, B.Tech or B.Sc IT for IT specialist and others.

Since, have B.Sc degree still you can not apply for clerical or PO post as maximum age to appear in these examinations is 30 years.

There is no way to get job in bank.
From my point of view, you should continue same profession as it is very difficult for any person to change profession at age of 43 years.

The required educational qualification is bachelor degree where as the age limit is 21-30 years with +9 year of relaxation for widow candidates.

So, you are eligible to appear till the age of 39 years and not eligible to appear for examination now.

The eligibility criteria for bank clerk or Probationary officer exam is:

1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for Bank PO or Clerk exam.

2. Age limit for PO is 20-28 years for IBPS PO and 21-30 years for SBI PO exam. Upper age relaxation of three years to OBC and five years candidates can also apply for this examination.

There is no chance for you to apply for any post in bank at age of 43 years old.

IBPS which stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection. It conducts Common written examination for the post of clerk and probationary officer post for 20 plus nationalized banks.

Eligibility criteria:

*Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates are also eligible for examination.

But the age limit for IBPS PO is 20-28 years and three years upper age relaxation to OBC candidates and five years to SC/ST candidates.

*You can not get job in Banks at age of 43 years even availing relaxation benefits.
