Can I get seat in BIT Mesra with 1000 rank and 96 percentile in GATE 2015?


Sir, can I get any nit or DCE or bit mesra. I have 10000 rank in gate 2015 and a 96 percentile. So please tell me is possible.

Yes, you have a good chance of getting admission in an NIT and BITS Mesra with this score. You might face some stiff competition if you are applying for admission in popular stream like Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, ECE and EEE. You haven't mentioned the discipline in which you want admission.

The cut off for admission varies from one stream to other. The stream which is popular have a higher cut off for admission. Also, the category of the candidate will decide whether you will get admission or not. If you are a reserved category candidate then you can get admission with low scores.
