Hi,
I secured 40 marks in gate 2011 from electronics and communication with score of 480 and all india rank of 5912 . My percentile is 95.71 can I get NIT or MS from IIT?

Well there is chance for getting into the IITs after scoring 480 in GATE. but you will get sure admission into the NITs. If you are belonging from Sc/ST/OBC categories then you will get the chance in IITs. So having general categories this is not possible for you to get into the IITs.

Hi,

You have maximum chance of getting admission in NIT but there are possibility that you may get admission in IIT also.

If you belong to any category SC/ST/OBC then surely you will get admission in IITs.

dear you can try for NIT kurushetra,NIt jalandhar,NIT jaipur,NIt hamirpur...........
sure u will get one of NIT out of these...............
You can also try for PEC chandigarh,COEP pune.......

hello sir...i scored 640 score in GATE EC and AIR 1409 and i am from GEN category.What are my chances of getting into NIT's?and which NIT's are preferred

Thank you for answers . Iit are done with i was not able to get into iit bombay in remote sensing though i appeared in the interview.

Now is it possible for me to get nit hamirpur/ jalandhar or diat pune these are my last options. Plz reply

if you are belonging from sc/st then you can get nit's other wise my dear friend sorry to say that but you can not get nit's or iit's....
