Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) is an under-graduate course that has duration of about 5.5 years.

In this duration, there is 1 year of Internship.

After the completion of BAMS course, you will be appointed to posts like:
  • General Practice
  • Ayurved Consultaion
  • Master of Public Health
  • PG Diploma Courses
  • Hospital and Healthcare Administration

You can appear for entrance exams like AIPMT, AIIMS, even if you admitted to BAMS course.

However, if you get qualified in these exams then you will have to abandon your BAMS course to join college that you are getting after counselling of AIIMS or AIPMT Exam.

Some of the popular books for AIPMT and AIIMS are:

Board + PMT / IIT - JEE Foundation (Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Biology) Class 10 (Set of 4 Books) (English) 3rd Edition (Paperback)
