I am a student of 12th class can i give the NDA exam

NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.eNDA-I and NDA-II.This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

Educational Qualifications:
•Completion of 12th with PCM from any accredited board.
•Completion of 12th with Arts and Commerce for Army wing.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

AGE LIMIT: 16 ½ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence.
* Sex:- Male.
* Nationality:- Indian.
* Marital status:- Unmarried or single.
* Physically and mentally fit.

NDA stands for national defense academy examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in year as NDA(1) and NDA (2).

ELIGIBILITY REQUIRED -

your age should be 16.5 to 19 years and only unmarried male candidates can apply for this examination. to apply for air force

or naval wing examination you should passed 10+2 with physics and math’s as compulsory subjects. to apply for army wing examination

you should passed 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized school.

The examination is based these criteria - written examination

physical / medical fitness

Physical Requirement : If you want to join NDA field then you have to satisfied Physical fitness conditions are following as :

1) You should be free from stress and mentally fit.

2) Your minimum acceptable height should be 157.5 cms for applying NDA candidates.

3) Your eye sight should be in the proper ratio of 6/6 and Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D.

4) Your chest will be fully developed after full inspirations up to the length of 5 cms.

At present you have to concentrate on your studies and work hard for National Defense Academy examination. You can follow for NCERT book for preparation of NDA examination.

Scheme of the Examination

Papers will be objective type. Medium of examination is English only.

Syllabus for Entrance Examination
Paper I - Mathematics: (Maximum Marks 300)
Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.
Paper II - General Ability
Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200)
Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400

If you have Physics,Chemistry and Maths in 12th class then you can apply for NDA entrance exam. NDA exam is for those students which are intrested in Indian Navy.

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC every year. notification for this year of NDA exam is already available on the website of UPSC. if you are 12th science student you can apply for NDA exam.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam is-

your age should between 16 ½ to 19 yrs.
you should Unmarried.
Only indian person can apply for NDA exam.

Last date for NDA entrance exam is 3-6-2013. you have to apply before this date.

Yes friend you can appear for NDA exam being in 12th standard..

before you must fit for the NDA eligibility criteria which are as follows:=

-age limit= 16.5-19 years

-educational qualification=12th passed or passed

-those who are in 12th can also appear for NDA.

-percentage required=no bar

-candidate must pass in all subjects

-must be mentally and physically fit and fine

-free from all diseases and disorders

National Defence Academy entrance exam is held twice a years usually in the months of March and August.
Eligibility to appear for the entrance exam:
To attend this exam he should be a Citizen of India or Subject of Bhutan or Nepal. The candidate must be an unmarried male and should have attained the age of 16 ½ years.
Educational Qualification for this examination depends on the Service which you consider and prefer. You can indicate as many preferences as you wish to opt.
i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy , you should have passed 12th class with 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by the state Education board or a University.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health,can apply for NDA.

Hello

The NDA is for 10+2 passed students,the students who have passed 10+2 are eligible for applying.
But the students who are studying in class 12,are eligible to apply for NDA.

Actually,the NDA educational qualification requires intermediate passed students and it takes nearly 1 year time to complete all process of selection,hence if a candidate apply being in final year,that is while studying in class 10+2,then by the time all selection process would be over,he will pass 10+2 and this justifies the point of allowing final year(studying in class 12) students to apply.

Hence when you will go in class 10+2 ,in the month of May/June the academic starts,you apply for NDA then ,the notifications are released in the month of MAy,then if you do so and get selected then your course will start from June next year,otherwise the other notification is released in the month of December you can apply then also,then your course will start next year in the month of January.Exact 1 year time from the date of applying.

but the students of the commerce and arts can only apply for the Army in the N.D.A. The exam of N.D.A. is organized by the U.P.S.C. department of India and two times in a year. You should be an Indian Candidate to apply for the N.D.A.

paper II is the general ability divided into two parts:-
Part A is english of 200 marks
Part B is general knowledge of 400 marks
So total 900 marks
