Quote:
As far as future prospect of these tests are concerned, qualifying them will make you eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor/Lecturer in universities and Colleges of India. As per University Grant Commission, candidates who have not qualified these tests will not be considered eligible to apply for the position of Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Universities and Colleges anywhere in India. However, such compulsion is relaxed to a certain extent for candidates holding PhD qualification. Now, the only difference between these two tests is that qualifying National Eligibility Test will enable you to apply to Universities and Colleges located anywhere in India whereas qualifying State Lectureship Eligibility Test will enable you to apply to universities and College located in the particular state from where you will appear for the test. |

It is very unfortunate that you cananot give net/set because the degree Masters of Computer Management is not UGC approved degree but it is AICTE degree. Best option s you can apply to MCM Colleges only. Same case is with me. An RTI reveals this fact. Government should do something for the people who have one MCM
