The full form of NET and SET is National Eligibility Test and State Eligibility test. Both entrance exams are conducted for Research Fellowship and Lectureship.

Eligibility criteria:

1. You must have done master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year post graduation candidates can also apply for this exam.

2. You need to have minimum of 55% marks in post graduation.

NET is now conducted by CBSE. The upper age limit for JRF is 28 years and there is no age limit for lectureship.

The examination fee of NET is Rs 600 for general category, 300 for OBC candidates and Rs 150 for SC/ST candidates. You can apply when notification is released at official website of CBSE NET.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
