Dear Sir,
I am 38 yrs old can i go for the tet exam, HS Percentage 47% & cast OBC.

As per age criteria you are eligible but, with respect to educational qualification you are ineligible .

TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test.

TET is an entrance test for those candidates who wishes to become a teacher.

The TET test is conducted by both Central government and State Government of India.

TET Entrance exam is divided into 2 papers. Paper 1 is for Class 1 to 5 and paper 2 is for class 6 to 8.

The educational qualification required for TET Entrance exam is graduation degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

The candidate age limit should be from 21 years to 37 years . Relaxation in upper age limit is provided to OBC candidates by 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates .

The exam consist 2 papers. Paper I is for class I to V and Paper II is for class VI to VIII .

Paper II:

Eligibility criteria for TET exam:-

1)Those candidates who have completed graduation degree with above 50% marks from a recognized board are eligible for TET exam.

2)Your age should be below 40 years.
