If you have completed your 12Th examination and Interested to apply for Indian Navy then for this you have to apply for the NDA Examination. This examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year and Final year 12Th appearing candidates are also apply for NDA Examination.

If you have completed your 12Th examination and Interested in Indian Navy, then for this you have to apply for NDA Examination of Naval Wings.

Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for National Defence Academy.

But to apply for NDA Examination, you have to attained the age of 16.5 Years and Not have attained the age of 19 years, No upper age relaxation is applicable for Any candidates.

The selection are based on written examination, Medical test and Personal Interview. If you have cracked the Written examination then you are eligible for Final Interview and after clear final Interview, you are eligible to Join Training.

But to apply for NDA Examination, you must be Physically and Mentally Fit.

The Notification of NDA (I) 2012 Examination will be Published on 31/Dec/2011.

The last date of apply for NDA Examination : 30/Jan/2012

Examination Date : 15/April/2012.

If you have complete 12th class with PCM stream and your age is between 16 1/2 to 19 years,then you can appear for NDA (Indian Navy) exam for this year.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.This exam is conducted by UPSC every year twice.

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issuing of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.

NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issuing of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th August 2012.

If you crack the NDA-I exam,you will be called to attend for SSB interview,If you crack this interview then you will get job as Indian Navy in defense service.


If you fail to crack the NDA-I exam,then you can appear for NDA-II exam.You can try again.

It is very good that you have dreamt to join one of the most prestigious organizations. You can definitely join Indian Navy. For this you have to write the entrance exam conducted by NDA. Once you clear the entrance exam you have to clear the medical test and interview. After the completion of the course you can join Indian Navy. Another option is to complete graduation and then join through the CDSE or SSC scheme.

After completing 12th with Physics chemistry and maths You can join Indian Navy.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
N.D.A exam is conducted in month of April and August

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year
> Medically fit

There are 3 steps of selection:-
-Written exam.
-Interview
-medical exam.

Indian navy takes an examination to appoint their candidates. Generally examination is held twice a year in the months of June and December.

Eligibility Criteria :-

Nationality :- Indian.
Marital Status :- Unmarried.
Educational Qualifications :- You have to pass 12th or equivalent with Science and Mathematics with 60% or above marks in aggregate.
Age Limits :- 15 to 18 years.

Physical Standards:-
Minimum height: 157 cm
Minimum eye standard: Without glasses better eye 6/6 and worse 6/9
Color perception: CP II


Application Procedure:
You have to complete the application form as per format given in the Employment News on a plain paper either handwritten or typed if you are fulfilled with the eligibility criteria.

Exam Procedure :-
If you are eligible then you will be called for the written examination which includes :-
(i)Science
(ii)Mathematics
(iiiGeneral Knowledge
(iv)English

The question paper will be of objective-type of 75 minutes duration.

Yes you can join in Indian Navy if you have science as your stream in 12th. You can join in Indian Navy through NDA exam.

You can apply for NDA to join navy.

You should be citizen of india .

you should be unmarried , then only your eligible for the training .

you should be qualified for 12th in science stream { ie : physics , chemistry , biology , mathematics } with good percentage of marks form recognized board .

Your age should be 16 1/2 to 19 years

you should be physically as well as mentally fit for the indian navy training and also you should not affect by any diseases .

if you satisfy this eligibility criteria , then your definitely eligible for the indian navy examination .

As per your qualification, you can appear in the NDA

[NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY] examination, conducted by the union public service commission.

The minimum educational requirement for appear in this examination in a 12th degree from a recognized board.

For apply in NAVAL & AIR FORCE , you must have subjects Physics & maths with at least 60%..

The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years.

You must have Indian nationality with marital status unmarried.
