how can i join in merchant navy after completing diploma in electronics & telecommunication.

ya sure you can join merchant navy after your graduation and for that you have to appear for a exam conducted by the institute if you clear that then you will be selected for the training and then you can join any shipping company.....

the minimum qualification for joining merchant navy ....is to have either 12th pass or diploma from any branch........

so you can apply for the course...all you have to do is to apply at any institute of merchant navy and go for a course of your choice fro 3 months ....

then you will be eligible for going in any of the merchant vessel ........
merchant navy selection has to different kind of entries........

first one is sponsored entry and the second one is non sponsored candidates........you might also have to appear for a ignou exam.......after which your course will be certified by ignou........

it is always good to be a sponsored candidate ........you can apply for that at namac,torm,anglo eastern shipping.....

many people are rejected from merchant navy because they are color blind

ya sure you can join the merchant navy after your graduation get completed but after completing your graduation you have to appear for an entrance exam and you have to do a 6 months sea course and then you can apply for any of the institute you wish to join.....

if you are interested in merchant navy then you have to do one course that is marine engineering then you will be get placed in merchant navy.the cost of course is depending upon the institutes.

You can enter Merchant Navy after your diploma in electronics and telecommunication. You have to appear for an exam followed by interview. You have to do sea course for a couple of months. But you should be physically fit and your eyesight should be 6/6.You would be initially appointed as Deck cadet.

The minimum qualification of merchant navy is passed 12th....or diploma....so you are eligible....this is good field to make your career....so i think you should go for it......

To join the Indian Navy you have to appear for the NDA Exams that is conducted by the UPSC Board.

NDA is abbreviated as National Defense Academy and the board is responsible for recruiting candidates for three wings namely Army, Air Force and Naval Wings Respectively. The Notifications about the exams are given in the employment newspapers or updated in UPSC website.

To appear for the exams the Eligibility is:

You need be a citizen of India(or) a subject of Nepal(or) a subject of Bhutan (or) a Tibetian Refugee
You must have completed your 10+2 with Maths and Science as your Discipline.
You must have attained 16.5 years and must not be more than 19 years.
Upper Age relaxations applicable for SC/ST and OBC Categories.
You must be physically fit , you must have good eye sight(6/6 or 6/9).

Exam pattern:

The Exam is divided into 2 parts:

General Ability: This part Consists of Science, General Awareness, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, History

Mathematics: this Includes all the topics that you have covered in your 10+2 standard.
