Yeah sure, you can join NDA after completing 12th standard with Arts stream.

There are three wings in NDA namely as..

Indian Army
Indian Navy
Indian Air Force

After completing 12th standard in Arts you can get into Indian Army wing only through NDA. To join NDA, you need to appear in NDA entrance examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year generally in the month of April/August.

NDA:- National Defence Academy
UPSC:- Union Public Service Commission

To join National Defence Academy your Age should be in between 16 1/2 to 19 years. You should be Indian citizen. You should be unmarried & Male candidate.

2.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

NDA is the Entrance Exam which is organized and conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year to recruit candidates for the various posts of the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy.

NDA stands for the National Defense Academy.

Since you have studied your Higher Secondary in Arts stream, so you are not eligible for the Indian Air Force, and Naval streams. However you are surely fit to apply for the Indian Army.


The Basic Eligibility Criteria's to apply for the Indian Army (NDA) are :


1. You should be a Unmarried Male Indian National.

2. Your age should be within 16.5 to 19 years as in the year of applying.

3. You should have passed your Class 12th from a recognized school or state board in India.

4. Physical fitness is also a must if you want to apply in the NDA.


This year the NDA exam would be held on 15th April 2012 (Sunday).

The Notification for this exam has been released on 31st December 2011 and so you can find it in the Employment News Paper of that week.


The deadline to apply for the NDA 2012 is set on 30th January 2012. So please do the needful before this date, if you want to apply.

NDA stands for national defense academy that is the entrance exam for the civil services that is to be joined after 12th and you can join any of the one from these following civil services:-

1.Indian Army
2.Indian Air Force
3.Indian Military

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1. You must be an Indian National or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetian refugee with the intention of permanently setting down in India.
2. Your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.
3. You must be unmarried male.
4. You must be physically fit. For Army wing height should be more than 157.5 cm, chest should be minimum 81 cm and should expand upto 5 cm on full inspiration.

Hi there,

NDA- National Defence Academy is an Entrance test you have to take its not any organization to join.

By this Exam you will be getting into any of the Defence sectors namely:

INDIAN ARMY

NAVY

AIR FORCE

Note: For you its only possible to join INDIAN ARMY as a commerce student that also if you have a minimum of 60% aggregate.

NAVY and AIR FORCE compulsory requires maths and Physics subject with 60% marks.

NDA exam is going to happen twice every year.

Subjects to be prepare:

Maths (300 marks)

General Ability Test (600 marks)

Each exam is 2 1/2 hrs. Total 5hrs and 900 marks.

Age: 16 - 19 1/2 yrs.

Unmarried male candidates only.

Minimum height : 162 cms.

Eye: 6/6 best, worst 6/9.

(with glasses 6/6 , 6/6 both cases)

Salary : 15600-39500/- grade pay: 5400/- plus allowances.

Sure, you can apply for NDA after 12th class with arts.
But, you can apply only for Army wing.
Because, to join Navy and Air Force wing, you must pass 12th class with science stream.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.
NDA exams are conducted by UPSC twice a year. That are NDA I and NDA II.

Eligibility Criteria:

>>The candidate age must be between 16.5 to 19 years.

>>The candidate must be Unmarried male.

>>The candidate must be Indian.

>>The candidate must be physically and mentally fit.

The NDA exam has three steps:

>>Written Exam

It consists of two exams. That are Mathematics and General Ability.

Mathematics paper is of 300 marks and General Ability is of 600 marks.

Both the papers are of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

>>SSB Interview

The candidates clearing written test are called for SSB interview.

>>Medical Test

After clearing SSB interview the candidates are called for Medical test.
