Re: Can I pursue for M.Tech after passing B.Tech Mechanical
GATE is the Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering. This is the entrance exam conducted by Indian Institute of Technology for admission into master's degree in technology or engineering in top reputed engineering institutes in India.
For Admission into Master of Technology, eligibility criteria: >>Candidate must have done bachelor of technology or engineering from a recognized university. >>You must have qualified the GATE exam. No, percentage is not an issue in getting admission in engineering colleges for Master of technology, you should have valid GATE score. Your GATE rank and score will decide in which college you will get admission. For admission in IITs, your rank should be below 1000 for candidates belonging to general category, upto 2000 rank for OBC and SC/ST candidates. So if you have good GATE score, you will get admission in top colleges for M.Tech, your CGPA will not matter a lot. |
