Will any industry accept me after scoring a CGPA of 5?

Hi Friends,

I am a B.E holder in automobile discipline with a CGPA of less than 5.0 This was actually caused by our university reducing mark for every attempt at a backlog from the total percentage. I am really depressed that i wont get a job with this mark. But i am sure that i have better knowledge about the automobile sector than my better scoring colleagues and am good in communication. Will the industry accept me or should i go for some higher education (which is also hard to get with my CGPA). Since i am good at designing stuff and have a good computer knowledge will doing any CAD/CAM courses do any help. Please let me know about my options, weather it is work or higher studies and any resources will also do a lot of help for me. Thanks in advance for your time spent helping me..

Yes, it would be very difficult for you to get job, as now a days most of the companies demand above 60% in btech even all of the PSUs.

So, best option for you is to pursue Mtech or MBA now.
For mtech , you can apply for GATE exam.
For MBA, exams are GMAT, CAT, FMS, JMAT etc.

hello dear

as your Btech marks is very poor. so good company normally will not hire you.

so you will face in the problem during campusing time.

as almost all companies want 60% and above marks, throughout of academic career.

so you can't appear those interviews.

but don't worry as you have good knowledge in subjects. then you will definitely get a job.

you can also do higher study m.tech.

all the best............

dear friend,
During campus placements, every company wants 60% above percentage in both 10th and 12th and also in your graduation.
If you have less marks in 12th, then it wont affect much if you are good in other things like group discussion, communication skill, aptitude etc.
Many companies take candidate who has percentage between 50 to 60 in 12th.

Thank you
Best wishes
