No, 12th class marks are not counted for admission for diploma holders. Such candidates can join directly to 2nd year of B.Tech program. Admissions are done on the basis of lateral entry entrance exams. Calicut University, Thapar university, Kerala University, etc offer lateral entry admissions for B.Tech. Detailed information can be collected from the website of the concerned University.

B.Tech after Polytechnic is very good choice. you can take direct admission in B.Tech after diploma.

A diploma pass student can not take admission in Government but can take admission in any government college. direct admission facility is available for diploma pass students.

For admission in B.Tech you have to contact with the college directly in which you want to take admission. if there is seats available then you can apply in this college for admission. this is the procedure of admission in engineering college.

Engineering after Diploma will help you very much because in engineering are also same which you study in Diploma. after engineering you have so much scope in government and private sector. engineering will be very help full for you in getting job.

Before admission you have to collect information about the college like placement of previous years. you have not to take admission in any college you should choose best college which provide good knowledge and placement.

If you have poly technic certificate you can join Second year B.Tech Directly. This process of admission is known as lateral entry.

Yes you can definitely take admission in B.tech after passing the polytechnic.
The thing which you have to do is that you have to pass the (LEET exam) Lateral Entry Exam Test.
And after passing the exam you will be able to take admission in the 2nd year in degree course in any of the desired branch stream.

Yes you can take admission in b.tech after passing polytechnic.12th class does not matter you are directly get admission.on the basis of polytechnic you can directly go to in 2nd year.you have required lateral entry test for it.

The basic eligibility criteria for the bachelor Engineering or bachelors in technology course is to have successfully passed out + 2 from a recognised board.Also the 3 years diploma degree holders also can get the admission in BTech or B.E. directly in the second year.
