Yes of course you can take admission in MCA after BCA from any college.
IGNOU is one of the best colleges for pursuing MCA. The fees per semester in IGNOU is up to Rs.12,200 But you have not mentioned whether you have studied maths in 10+2 or not. If yes, then its okay.. Otherwise, the students who haven't studied Maths at 10+2 level are required to do CS-60 in the first semester of MCA. Admission notification is generally released in May/June and the last date for submission of filled-in application forms will be September 30 for January session and March 31 for July session. For more details visit http://www.ignou.ac.in |

Hi
MCA stands for the Master's in Computer Application and it is basically the advanced form/ higher study of the BCA which is Bachelor in Computer Applications. Now the Basic Eligibility Conditions to take up MCA in any college is :- 1. You should be a minimum graduate in Science/Commerce streams and must have secured more than 50% aggregate in it. 2. BCA students are always eligible for MCA. 3. Maths is compulsory in 12th or in graduation to have studied if one wishes to take up MCA. So now coming to your question, If you have done BCA from IGNOU, and have a clear degree, then surely you can take admission in the MCA in IGNOU itself. Do not worry about it at all.. Thus Click Here to visit the Official website of the IGNOU. Hope this helps All the best Regards RANJEET |
