Re: Can I take NATA exam if I am 27 years old?
As far as NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is concerned,
there is no age bar. All those who have the educational qualification equal to 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/University with Mathematics as a subject of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks or Diploma in Engineering (any stream) from an institute recognised by Central/ State Governments with 50% aggregate marks can apply for the test. On the basis of NATA score candidates are can apply to the architecture colleges according to their choice of colleges. The eligibility criteria of admission to different colleges might be different and so you can expect the age criteria in some institutions for sure but most of them do not put any age criteria for admission in B.Arch. courses. So you can appear NATA for sure and if you qualify, you can definitely get admission in some good architecture college. |

Re: Can I take NATA exam if I am 27 years old?
NATA-NATIONAL APTITUDE TEST IN ARCHITECTURE, is an entrance test, on the basis of scoring of which the candidate having requisite qualification can get admission to under Graduate course in Architecture.
The candidate having 12th or equivalent qualification in any stream from a recognised Central/State Board with Mathematics as a subject or Diploma in Engineering in any stream from a recognised Institution with 50% marks is eligible to apply for NATA. There is no bar to upper age for application to NATA. One can apply to the choice of Institution for B.Arch. course on the basis of NATA scoring. Most of the Institutions imparting under Graduation course in Architecture have no age criteria so at the age of 27 years you can apply for NATA and on the basis of scoring you may get admission to B.Arch. courses. |

Re: Can I take NATA exam if I am 27 years old?
Nice to see that you are interested to apply for NATA examination.
The National_Aptitude_Test_in_Architecture_(NATA) is an aptitude test that measures the talent of the applicant. i.e the Aesthetic sensitivity, Critical thinking4 that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. NATA is required for admissions to 1st year B.Arch. at all institutes / schools / colleges of Architecture in India (including NITs, IITs, Government Institutions, Government-aided Institutions, Universities, Deemed Universities and Private Universities, established by a Central or State Legislature and other private institutions), offering courses, leading to Bachelor ’s degree in Architecture. National Aptitude Test in Architecture is conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA), Pune, an Academic Unit of the Council of Architecture (CoA). The CoA is the final authority in India as far as regulating architectural education and architectural profession is concerned. Candidates, who are not admitted on the basis of valid NATA marks, will not be considered for registration as an Architect. The NATA examination has no age limit. So, you can apply for it at an age of 27 years. Here, I am providing the eligibility criteria for NATA :------ 1. The candidate must have passed the 12th class examination or any equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University with mathematics as a subject of examination. 2. The candidate must be qualified 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Governments with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Re: Can I take NATA exam if I am 27 years old?
Hi..friends........
For NATA exam there is only one constraint about age..(i.e) They must have attained minimum 17 years. The educational qualification needed for admission through NATA is a pass in 10+2 or its equivalent. Students appearing for +2 exams can also attend NATA. good luck..friends.... |
