Sir/Mam, Please tell me can I teach English subject after B.Ed if I don't have English subject in my BA? Am I eligible? Can you please let me know the information on the same? Will they allow me in school for the same to do? Thanks!

B.ed ( bachelor of education ) is 2 years course for under graduates, who want to explore their career in the field of teaching. Its a professional course after completion of the course you are eligible to apply for the teachers (primary,high school) & eligibleto teach the students as per government norms.

Eligibility criteria for B.ed - A minimum aggregate score of 50% in graduation.

In B.ed you select the medium of education according to your vantage.

In B.ed you have to chose two subjects ,one from language (Hindi, English, Maths etc.) and another from your subject (science,History,Geography,Economics etc.).

As you don't have the English while your graduation , you are not eligible to teach english subject.
