i'm a M.sc (computer science) student. can i write CSIR-UGC Entrance exam? Am i eligible to this exam?

M.Sc or equivalent degree under the subjects mentioned above, with minimum 55% marks for General and OBC candidates; 50% for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates and Ph.D. degree holders who had passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991

hello friend csir net exam is conducted only for the following subjects :

Chemical Sciences
Earth Atmospheric Ocean and Planetary Sciences
Life Sciences
Mathematical Sciences
Physical Sciences

so i think you can not apply for this

you can not apply for csir net exam because that is not for your subject that is computer science but you can apply for the another exam UGC-NET for Junior Research fellowship and eligibility for Lectureship that is for the following subjects Humanities, Social Sciences (including languages), Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science etc.

Eligibility for CSIR UGC NET entrance examination:

You Must have a M.Sc. or equivalent degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks And the final year Students of M.Sc. are also eligible to appear in CSIR NET exams.

Age Eligibility Criteria -

For Junior Research fellowship – You must be between 19 –28 years of age.

For Lectureship – There is no upper age limit. You should be at least 19 years of age.
