Can i write CSIR-UGC Entrance exam? I am an M.sc (computer science) student
i'm a M.sc (computer science) student. can i write CSIR-UGC Entrance exam? Am i eligible to this exam?

yes you are eligible
M.Sc or equivalent degree under the subjects mentioned above, with minimum 55% marks for General and OBC candidates; 50% for SC/ST candidates, Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates and Ph.D. degree holders who had passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991 |

Yes man you are eligible to site for this exam.
According to the eligibility criteria of CSIR-UGC MSc or equivalent degree with 55% marks for general and OBC and 50% for SC/ST students. So you are 200% eligible ![]() Cheers |

Yes, definately you are eligible for CSIR-UGC Entrance exam. The minimum eligiblity creteria of this exams is to get 55% marks in M.sc or in equivalent degree. So, if you
have scored minimum 55% marks in your master degree, then you are eligile to appear in this exams. So prepare well to scored good marks in this exams........ |

Yes, definitely you are eligible for appearing at CSIR-UGC entrance exam. The eligibility for applying to this exam is to have a Master's degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized university. Though you have not mentioned your percentage in Master's exam, i think you are eligible for appearing in this exam. Best of luck. |

hello friend csir net exam is conducted only for the following subjects :
Chemical Sciences Earth Atmospheric Ocean and Planetary Sciences Life Sciences Mathematical Sciences Physical Sciences so i think you can not apply for this |

hello friend
you can not apply for csir net exam because that is not for your subject that is computer science but you can apply for the another exam UGC-NET for Junior Research fellowship and eligibility for Lectureship that is for the following subjects Humanities, Social Sciences (including languages), Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science etc. |

Eligibility for CSIR UGC NET entrance examination:
You Must have a M.Sc. or equivalent degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks And the final year Students of M.Sc. are also eligible to appear in CSIR NET exams. Age Eligibility Criteria - For Junior Research fellowship – You must be between 19 –28 years of age. For Lectureship – There is no upper age limit. You should be at least 19 years of age. |

I have done my "BE" from "electronics and communication" branch and i have done my "Mtech" from "VLSI DESIGN".can i eligible for net?If i am eligible than which exam i will give "UGC NET"or "UGC CSIR".
