Can anyone tell how to join army who is studying BE mech? Can anyone suggest me how to join military after completing BE (mech).

Dear Friend,
You are a student of core stream.
You may take admission in Indian Army following some rules :
1:You should have to be unmarried Indian or Nepali.
2:You should have to pass 10th with 55% in aggregate.
3:You should have to pass 12th with Math & Physics.
4:You should have to pass 12th with 50% minimum in PCM & in aggregate.

the name of such exams are,

1.CDS

2.UES

3.EKT

etc.. there are some criteria, you must have 60% aggregate throughout your graduation.. you can get these type of information in employment newspaper..
so read employment newspaper daily...

You have neither mentioned your age nor indicated how much you have progressed with your Engineering degree studies. But there is nothing to worry as there is every probability of your joining the Indian Army, whether you decide to complete your engineering degree or not. Read the contents of the following

There are a lot of options for a mechanical student in defence sector.
A student either belong to 3rd year or above can apply for jobs in defence.
There are two procedure you can follow:
1. You can either go through UES(university entry scheme)
2.or through direct fill up thr forms.

recently a form of Air force has published which last date is 7th of september, which is for EKT(engineering knowledge test).
After getting success in EKT you will called for SSB, then you will be finally selected.

Yes a Mechanical Engineer can join Indian Army or Miltary. But they are selected in technical lines.Every year add comes in newspaper for different categories.SSB interviews are organised in some Engineering colleges.Ask your principal to inform the interested candidates when these interviews are organised in any college.This scheme is known as UES(University Entry Scheme).You can also go to this line after the completion of your degree.

yes ofcourse BE Mecahnical Engineering student can join Indian Army.there are various proces to join Indian Army.firstly they visit many colleges and take interview.it is one procedure.you can also apply for the written exam which they conduct and if you clear you will be called for the ssb.and if you clear that you can join.

Yes, you can join Military, Navy and IAF after Btech. However there are some age criteria.
The various ways for Engineers to join these are CDS, SSC and University Entry Scheme.

One can join Indian army after B.Tech/BE in the university entrance scheme,through either SSC test or NDA test.

The branches that can apply in army are: Electronics,Tele-communication, Electrical, Electrical Communication, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science & Engineering.
So i doubt that you can join the Indian army being a mechanical engineer.

you can easily join the army.you can join in the technical branch.you have to be an unmarried candidate.you also have to attempt for the cds exam or IES exam to get into army with your degree.

After your BE degree, you can join Indian Army.
For engineering students, There is a special entry scheme called Technical entry scheme. You can apply for this.
Also, you can apply through

1. CDS
2. UES
3. SSC.

and also you have good number of posts are available with your graduation.but the following are the qualifications necessary
1.you have to secured 55% in 10 th class

and one more point is need to practice high jump ,long jump,and other athatilicl

my frnd got selected by army in GD and PI round from his campus.....now he will be preparing for ssb...want to ask u...how good it is to be there...and being a mechanical engg. student wat kind of job would be offered to him/...his family is not very much willing to send him coz of some fears....so just want to know wat wud the salary..the kind of job? and any other thing which u cud share

then you can go through with CDS Examination

There are some eligibility criteria which are given below is important for appearing the CDS exam.

CDS stands for Combined defense services. this exam is conduct by UPSC twice in a year.

Eligibility Criteria For CDS is

>> Candidate should be graduate from recognized university

>> Candidate who want to join air force should be completed graduation with subject MATHS and PHYSICS,

>> Candidate who are appearing final year exam are also eligible

Age Limit

For IMA 19 to 24

For OTA 19 to 25

For NA 19 to 22

For AFA 19 to 23

>> Male and female both candidate are eligible for CDS exam

>> Candidate should be indian.
