Can a person do MTech after BSc? Or for Mtech a student has to do MSc after BSc?

You cannot join for M.Tech course right after B.Sc. You must certainly complete M.Sc course as it is considered equivalent to the B.Tech course. Also you must have specialised in any of the areas in which M.Tech courses are available like Computer Science etc. You will need to appear for the entrance exams like GATE. You can go in for the course at any age.

So as you have completed your BSc, hence, I would suggest that you complete your MSc, and then you can apply for the GATE exam.

I think the answer is No.you cannot do M.Tech directly after BSc....

if you have B.E or B.Tech degree then easily you can take admission for M.Tech program. but if you have B.Sc degree and if you want to do M.Tech then first you have to do M.Sc after that you will be able to take admission in M.Tech. your M.Sc will be considered as B.Tech equivalent.


actually B.Tech is a 4 years study where as B.Sc is a 3 years study. now for M.Tech 10+2+4 pass is required. after B.Sc it's not possible. that,s why you can not take admission in M.Tech after completion of your B.Sc.

after bsc you are not eligible for m-tech.

after completion of your masters degree you are eligible for this post.

onle b-tech from bachelor degree are applicable.

No , You are not eligible for M.tech Course After Completing B.sc Course . Because you have Satisfy the Educational Qualification . To apply for M.tech Course you should Complete B.E ( Bachelor of Engineering ) / B.tech ( Bachelor of Technology ) / M.sc ( Master of Science ) From recognized University .

So, As your educational Qualification your not eligible for M.tech Course .
