Respected sir,
I had done B.Sc biotech in the year 2007, am i eligible for M.Tech in biotechnology? what is the selection criteria, which colleges offering the same in mumbai,

should I opt post graduate industrial biotechnology program instead of M.Tech? Is it possible for me to go for M.Sc biotech now?

what kind of scope both the courses offer? and how much salary can i get?

you are eligiable to do mtech after bsc.you have to comlete msc first then you can do mtech.......

You are not eligible to go for M.tech degree courses with a Bachelor of Sciences degree i.e., B.sc degree.Yes, you can go for M.sc now. After M.sc if you still want to go for M.tech then you can go. No need to worry if you can't go for M.tech. Now a days it is not the degree which is worth it is the real skill of the candidate which is worth.

Both are having good scope and in fact M.sc candidates are having more job opportunities than M.tech degree candidates. But the initial pay will be given more for a M.tech candidate. No problem with your skill set and experience you can beat him if you choose M.sc degree and enter a job market.

For M.sc courses IIT- Madras is conducting an entrance exam called IIT-JAM. Please write it so that you can get your M.sc degree fom the most reputed college of India if you cracked the entrance test. I hope you got your answer. All the best for your future.

It depends upon the interest of an indivisual.

if you are very good at Bio tech and wants do research work then you should opt for M.Tech.

Otherwise you can opt for industrial biotech. It also has great scope.

To my knowledge, Normally most institutes wont Consider BSc for M.tech. Check if any Institutes consider on exception. I believe you are not eligible for M.tech in biotechnology.

Sure. You can obviously opt PGP in industl biotechnology. You are eligible for that. You can also opt for MSc biotech. You are qualified for the same.

Both courses has its priority and good remuneration.

Yes you are eligible for M.Tech in biotechnology.

But as you are from B.Sc background, you have no technical knowledge like a B.Tech biotechnology student have.

So you should rather opt for M.Sc or PG in industrial biotechnology. It has very good aspects in India and as well as in abroad.

With the rapid growth of industry, the demand for industrial biotechnologists are also becoming high. You can do post graduate degree with this field.

I think that post graduate industrial biotechnology is better than doing M.Tech in biotechnology.
This field has got ample opportunities in the job market and as well as in the research field.
The whole industrial sector is concerned in this study course ,so it is much more demanding. As you have already done B.Sc in biotechnology you can easily get started with the Master's course in the industrial biotechnology program.

no, my friend you are not eligible for Mtech, because you have to appear in GATE for doing MTECH.. there is some criteria, for appearing in GATE, you must have complete your graduation in Btech, otherwise you must have complete your Master degree like MSC..

then only you can apply for Mtech..

for doing Mtech you have to first complete your Msc ..

after that you can appear in GATE..

it will be better for you to get a good job in technical field..
