yes you can apply for upsc mpsc ............ army too have computer related centre in india.......

yes you can apply for upsc,after clearing the upsc exam you will be an administrative officer and cant expect to get an sofware job .if you are interested in doing software job in government then apply for IES

for applying for any of the posts in upsc exam the minimum qualification is graduation in any field......
and so you can apply for the exams in upsc......

You can apply for upsc exams. However it depends on the requirements of job itself.

However, you cannot apply for IES, MES and some other fields where software engineers are not required for it.

You are eligible for exam like Indian civil services etc.

these are the eligibility conditions for writing UPSC,if you fulfill these then you can write the exam:

For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India.
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2010
he candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India

Conditions of Eligibility for upsc:
c) Educational Qualifications :

(i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy-Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.

(ii) For Naval Academy : B.Sc. (with Physics & Mathematics) or Bachelor of Engineering.

(iii) For Air Force Academy : Degree of Recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.

but there is no any subject regarding the computer science so you have to choose other subject.

Yes , software engineers can apply for UPSC or MPSC.. but there will be no subjects from software branch.. you have to give the subjects of electronics stream.. means the syllabus for software engineers is generally the syllabus of electronics branch.. so you have to give the exam on electronics subjects..

graduation in any discipline.But friend, in the exam of UPSC and MPSC , ther is no


subject in the syllabus of UPSC and MPSC related to computer science,so you have to

choose subject from ECE, EE or mechanical.you can also choose subject like physics,

math, chemistry.your age should be less than equal to 30 year.After qualifying the exam

of UPSC or MPSC you will not get job related to Software. you will get job as

SDO,DM or SP.

You have to specify the exam for which you are appearing because in UPSC exam there are a number of post for which you can apply and accordingly you get the designation
