Yes , B.com student can apply for MCA provided he/she fulfill following

Let me explain the eligibility condition for doing MCA in Anna University, a leading University in India. To get admitted to MCA you should have the following qualifications:

A pass in a recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at
least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying
examination
(a) 10+2+3/4 years pattern with Mathematics at +2 level
(or)
(b) 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern

Further, it bars candidates who took lateral entry into the qualifying degree courses except BE/BTech.

As such, you can see that BCom is not a bar for seeking admission to MCA.

However, please check the conditions prevailing in the University where exactly you intend to apply.

MCA ( Master of Computer Applications ) is can apply any of the graduation student can eligible.
The student can complete his/her graduation in a recognised university.
So you can also eligible for the MCA.

Yes, a B.Com student can apply for a MCA course. As MCA being a post graduation course,so you need a graduation for being eligible and B.Com is a graduation degree. Choose a university and study mode , then go for registration and admission procedure.

If your having Mathematics or Business mathematics subject in Bachelor degree or 12th board examination , then your eligible to apply for MCA . Without the Mathematics subject your not eligible for MCA course .

MCA :- Master of Computer Application . The duration of the course is for two years and the course is divided into four semester . MCA course having good scope .

Eligibility criteria :-

You should should be complete bachelor degree or equivalent examination in any discipline from recognized university. Mathematics subject is Mandatory to apply for MCA course . You should score minimum 60% percentage of marks in bachelor degree . The institution may conduct entrance examination . Based on the performance in bachelor degree you may get admission for MCA course .

So , If you having Mathematics subject in 12th standard or Bachelor degree then your eligible for MCA course .

yes ofcourse a b.com student can apply for mca course. the minimum eligibility criteria required for getting admission in mca course is that the student must have done graduation in any field with atleast 60% marks.
but i must tell you one thing that mca in mainly meant for bca student.
so you might face a lot of problems in studying that.
but the decision is yours.
