Candidate who has competed M.Sc in Biochemistry is eligible for UGC NET or not?
I have completed my Masters in Biochemistry. Am I eligible for UGC NET? If eligible, than under which subject code?

Having completed M.Sc in Biochemistry you are eligible for appearing in Joint CSIR UGC test for JRF and LS ( NET ) under the subject known as life sciences with subject code name - LIF, subject code number - 03, and special subject code - 301.
Further for appearing in same examination having completed your degree in Biochemistry you need to have completed your master degree course with at least 55% marks ( or 50% marks in case you belong to reserved category ). For more details regarding same examination you can refer to the link csirhrdg.res.in. |
